The Queen: Michelle

The Queen: Michelle
I am 28 years old. Still a princess but the queen of my family. Spoiled beyond belief. Lucky and truely blessed. A lover. A crafter. A mother. A wife. A friend. This is me.

My King: Junior

My King: Junior
The LOVE of my life! He completes me and balances me out in every way. He's a workaholic. He's loud, blunt, and crazy. He drinks Monsters like his life depends on it. Above all he is the greatest Daddy I could ever ask for, for my children. And he treats me like his Queen (and he calls me that too).

The Model Child: Diego Ray

The Model Child: Diego Ray
9 years old. My only boy. He is the epitome of the perfect child. He is so responsible and independent. Wise beyond his years. He is laughter, he is love, he is compassion, he is simply amazing. He keeps me grounded and reminds me always that I am beautiful. He is a natural born leader and takes care of the household and family better than me!

The Diva: Alayna Danae

The Diva: Alayna Danae
7 years old. She is drama. My fashionista for sure with a style all her own. Sensitive and loving when she wants to be. Thumbsucker. My biggest headache because she is the most like me. She is the only one who can cause me to become uncontrollably angry. She loves to dance. She loves to model. My bookworm and most academic.

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace
4 years old. This one is something else. She is pure comedy. Never a dull moment with her crazy antics. She is also the crybaby. She does things her own way. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to be cute to get it. My Disney loving pal. So girly. Her favorite color is pink. Loves Rapunzel. Will wear a dress every single day. Can't leave the house without a bow in her hair. She refuses.

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle
2 years old. My sweet baby. She loves her Mommy above all else. She is a cuddlebug for sure. The calmest most well behaved baby ever! But she has TONS of energy. She is so small and petite. She loves to sing and dance. She so SO ready for ballet and has yet to even step foot in a class. She loves Minnie Mouse and watching Disney Jr. She is hilarious and talks way too much.

Wishing, Hoping, Thinking, and Praying

Today it's been 4 months since she's been gone. So much has changed in these past 4 months. Her family has expanded by two. And as I looked through my files of pictures for something to post for today... these pictures caught my eye right away.

It doesn't get any easier without you. Coming to terms with your departure was by far the hardest thing I've done in my whole life. Everything, every day reminds me of you. There's nothing that I do that doesn't make me think about you... that doesn't make me want to walk over to your bedroom, open the door, and share it with you. My life, my stories, my accomplishments, my kid's accomplishments, my troubles and problems (which are the majority as always), and even all my craft projects that you know you LOVED me sharing with you. It's hard not having anyone around to listen to me. It's just very hard. I miss you immensely.

Jr bought her this T-shirt as a joke (he bought me an identical one) but my Mom wore it out. Most nights she was wearing it to bed. If you look at it now... it's EXTREMELY worn out.

Two things come to mind when I see this picture. First... Boy did she love my brother. She rarely told us straight flat out that she loved us... but she did express to me MANY MANY times that she loved my brother. I hope he knows exactly how much. He is her baby boy. Big baby... but her baby nevertheless. And second... her laugh was so loud and contagious. I have to get the loud laugh from her. When she laughed you could hear her across the whole house.

This is my most favorite picture I ever took of my parents. I know it's not even their faces but it says so much to me. It shows how united they have always been. Not perfect but perfect together. The skin color difference, and the differences didn't stop there. They were very different but complimented each other so well. I love how my Dad's hand is over my Mom's like he's guiding her, like he's protecting her, and as domininant as my Mom was... my Dad was always the subtle King. And last but not least... her nails always done, her Tiffany's bracelet that she hinted so much for, and their wedding rings. <3

My Dad's 50th Birthday Fiesta. For someone who has no interest in planning parties she helped me from start to finish to put together a big bash for my Daddy. She was so happy to be able to do it and was excited when the day finally came. Every detail perfect.

Sunglasses = Mom
Enough said =)

She loved my Husband... they had some special bond that I probably couldn't ever understand. And they are so identical it's scary. I see my Mom in him all the time.

He was always behind her. Nothing he wouldn't do for her.

Our last Family gathering. Thanksgiving 2009. Her very most favorite holiday. What a beautiful family.

She loved being a Grandma. Even though she said she was too young to be a "Jamma" they were her whole world. I know she loved them more than her own children. They made her, angry, crazy, and happy all at the same time. You could tell by the way she held them, the way she looked at them, and she bragged about them all the time... showing them off like her greatest accomplishments. And they sure love her too. Each one with a different but special relationship with her. Diego was her buddy, her baby, her best friend. Alayna was the one she would argue with, both stubborn, but then they would be cuddled together. And Arielle was her pride and joy... being that she was/is so little I am not sure what attached my Mom to her. But she was quite obsessed with her.

And lastly... there's me:

She rarely told me, she never expressed her feelings, but she loved me. It was unspoken but I knew. She was never the mushy, gushy, lovey-dovey type... even though I was all over her all the time. Hugging her, kissing her, telling her she was special. She always said to me, "You smother me just like your Dad does... get off me! You guys are identical!" I never listened. And no she wasn't mean, that was her. And that was her love. She would do anything for me and no matter what I did she protected me, backed me up, forgave me, and loved me. She was always there. She is always here. She's my number one... even though she complained that in my eyes I was "Daddy's Girl"... Truth be told... I was more a Mama's girl than anything. She is my idol.

I love you Mom. You truly are number one.

Life With Atalie

So Atalie has been here for over a week now. She is such a good baby. She is very alert when she is awake and she's very calm. She hardly cries, she started crying the other day and I didn't pick her up just so I could actually hear what she sounds like when she does cry. LOL And she is a great sleeper so far! She wakes up at 1am and about 5am to eat and goes right back to sleep. And Jr and I each take one feeding so we get to both sleep most of the night. It's been great.

So here's what she's been up to this past week:

She got to meet her cousin Ramon who is 2 1/2 weeks older than her

(Atalie 2 days old)

She went to her first birthday party at 2 days old. We only were there for a little while though and only because Jr's brother lives 2 minutes away from our house.

At 3 days old she met her Great-Grandpa... aka Papa (My Mom's Dad)

At 6 days old she got her first bath before bedtime. I thought she's scream... but not Atalie... she was so relaxed as Daddy bathed her.

She cleans up nice...

At 9 days old she shows us her favorite pasttime... And she does it so well!

And today she turned 10 days old. So I snapped a few pictures of her again tonight. I mean she's so dang cute that I had to!

It's been only a week and a half but she fits right in this family. She's on a schedule already and doesn't complain... even though we are in and out of the car a lot during the day she just takes it all as it comes.

I love her!

Twenty-Five Things

My cousin Jessica tagged a bunch of us on Facebook. And my cousin Alexis did this on her blog... so I decided to post mine here instead too!

So here it goes... easy peasy...

25 random things about me:

1.)I always thought I didn't want kids until I was almost 30... and I am 25 years old with 4 kids.

2.) I really hate to exercise

3.) My favorite vegetable is broccoli... I can seriously eat it steamed with every meal.

4.) I am obsessed with the Twilight Series. I love me some vampires and werewolves.

5.) I am definitely a Daddy's Girl... I still think he's the best thing on Earth!

6.) My least favorite chore is laundry, in my house the pile NEVER ends... just when I think I've washed everything a new pile emerges.

7.) I HATE shaving my legs... BIGTIME!

8.) I love Country music... it's pretty much all I listen to. And my favorite song right now is Keith Urban's "Til Summer Comes Around"

9.) I am addicted to my shows... 90210, Melrose Place, 16 & Pregnant, Fresh Meat 2, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager

10.) If I could go to school for photography I would take that opportunity in a heartbeat. I would love to be a professional photographer.

11.) I LOVE Coach purses!

12.) I am obsessed with planning parties. Maybe I will look into one day working for an event planning company.

13.) Jr gave me this stuffed puppy for Valentine's Day this year and I am rather attached to it... it sleeps with me.

14.) I live in a fairytale world where I am the Princess and I always get what I want. And I really believe this too.

15.) My ultimate dream in life would be to buy back the house I grew up in and remodel it to make it my "dream home".

16.) Blogging is one of my most favorite things to do.

17.) I would really like to join a playgroup especially since the summer is coming and I want to stay busy... plus it's fun to talk to other Moms once in a while instead of myself or a 7/4/2 year old.

18.) My favorite movie of all time is Walk The Line.
"I want a love like Johnny and June, Rings of fire burnin' with you, I wanna walk the line, til the end of time, I wanna love, love ya that much, cash it all in, give it all up, and when you're gone I wanna go too, like Johnny and June."

19.) My favorite Disney Characters and Ariel and Belle. But Lightning McQueen and Tinkerbell are up there too.

20.) I want to re-new my wedding vows in Vegas at our 5 year anniversary... which is in 2012. Jr wants to plan a church wedding instead. I don't think that will happen.

21.) I am addicted to Facebook

22.) My phone is the Droid Eris

23.) I don't care how much of a hot mess she is... I still love Britney Spears... and I secretly wish her and Justin would end up back together.

25.) I hate swimming.

Now it's your turn! If you've read this blog, you must make a list of 25 random facts about yourself! It's fun!:)
