My World... Through My Eyes: I Pity The Fool...

The Man

Jr and I have been together almost 4 years now and been married a little over a year. We met back in Elementary school. He was a grade younger than me and so we knew eachother but I never gave him the time of day. He always had a crush on me... but I was too cool for him. We lived in the same neighborhood. My younger sister and his younger brother were also friends because they were in the same grade.

When I was a Sophomore we moved 15 minutes away to a new town. Sure it wasn't far but I thought it was. I spent the rest of my High School days bitter about moving and NEVER enjoyed the rest of my High School experience. The friends I made were great... but I never did anything fun in High School. I missed my old friends and my old school.

I had my son in my Senior year and still graduated. That was an accomplishment. I was the only one out of 10 pregnant Senior girls to actually graduate on time and walk with my class.

At the age of 19, I was still living with my parents (no surprise there), and my sister and his brother were dating. One day he happened to come over to our house with his brother and literally from that day forward we were inseperable. I had known him for so long but that day it was a completely different feeling.

He has been the BEST. He helped me through a rough time in my life. And he loves me just the way I am. And always has. He is truly my Best Friend and the ONLY person I can tell absolutely anything to. I can't even do that with my closest girl friends.

I love him.

The 5 Year Old

My aunt always told me that she loves all her kids the same... but her only son... she always had a soft spot for. She said she "Boys sure do love their Mamas"... And was she ever right.

My son is my little man. He made me a Mother. My first born child. He's so unbelieveable it's hard to even find the words sometimes. He's smart way beyond his years. Since he was born he's always been ahead of other kids, and had a maturity about him that kids his age just did not. For a long time we tried to get him to act like a normal kid, like a normal boy, the kids that runs around, gets dirty, and injures himself on a daily basis. But that's just not him. Although he loves to be rough and wrestle around with his Daddy and sometimes his sister... he just isn't a normal 5 year old boy.

He's compassionate and puts other's needs before his own. He always looks at the bright side of things... and is usually happy with the simple things in life.

He's the best big brother that anyone could ever have. Not only does he love his two little sisters to death... but he 's the protector, their guidance, their teacher, their entertainement, and their best friend. Alayna goes to him for comfort, for someone to play with, and yes, he even plays dolls with her because he melts when she uses her little pouty face. He is always wanting her to be happy. If she's sad or crying he'll give up something of his to make her happy. And even though he doesn't have to he shares his stuff with everyone. And even Arielle who is still so little recognizes her brother and smiles . A lot of mornings he comes into our bedroom and lays in my bed, hugging Arielle in his lap, and watches cartoons.

He's definately something else.

The 3 Year Old

Where oh where do I start with this child?

I've always wanted a little girl. When I was younger my mom used to take me shopping, get my nails done, and all that jazz... and I always knew I wanted a little girl to do all those things with me. Mothers and Daughters have very special bonds.

Alayna is more than I could have ever hoped for. She's been my hardest child thus far. She needs a lot of attention. If not she gets into trouble.

She's such a girly girl, loves dolls, and makeup, and dress-up, and anything that comes along with being a girl. I know we have a lot of fun shopping dates in our future.
She's the Princess... or shall I say, the Diva. And she takes the role very seriously. Sometimes you have to adress her as Princess or she won't even talk to you. But that's her nature anyway. If she feels like talking to some one she will... but other than that most people are ignored when trying to talked to her and sometimes get an evil stare back.

She's stubborn and wants everything her way, when she wants it! She's bossy and tries to control her brother or other kids sometimes. Although we tell her that this is not how she whould behave... this is how she is. She does tire me out a lot because she is constantly doing something and we have to keep a close eye on her. She's a drama queen and puts on a show when something makes her mad or is not quite going her way.

She's my most cuddly baby though. Sometimes she can be night and day. She'll sit in my lap for hours sucking her thumb and being hugged. She loves this time.

And she's the one that expresses her emotions the most. If she's mad she'll tell you without hesitation. If she's happy she tells you and makes sure you know that she's smiling and laughing because of it. If she's sad... oh she makes it clear. And it makes me want to comfort her and make everything all better.

She's high maintenance, hot headed, but she's my baby girl.

The Baby

Well Arielle is only 3 1/2 months old and is still trying to fit herself into this crazy family. She's still developing her personality... but I have a feeling she'll be just as spoiled and moody and me and Alayna are. She'll fit right in.

There is a few things I know for sure.

She loves her Daddy. Sometimes. Most of the time she wants nothing to do with him and cries and cries when he has her.But then there's those time in the day when she only wants him and anything he does makes her laugh. All he has to do is look at her or talk to her. But it's up to her if she's in the mood for him or not. As soon as she hears his voice she will kick with excitment but that doens't always mean she wants him to hold her. Sometimes she's just content listening to him talk.

She demand the most of me. As the baby she demands the most attention from me. There's times when she wants me and only me and she'll scream her head off until I am not busy doing something else to hold her. And she'll sit in my lap for hours on end if I let her too. I try not to hold her for too long (even though I am guilty of letting her sleep in my arms just to be able to watch her, and feel her breathe) because I have 2 other children that also need my attention and I don't want her getting used to it. Although sometimes I just can't help it. She's happiest when she's in my arms... and Grandpa's too... that I hate to put her down.

She adores Diego. Just seeing and hearing his voice makes her smile with happiness. He sits down and plays with her and talks to her and wants to see her smile and laugh. He's always the one on top of her next feeding, her next nap, and so on. He's the first to say, "Mom, I think she's ready for a nap... or she didn't have a very long nap earlier." Sometimes I have to remind him that I am her Mother and that he shouldn't have to worry about her so much. But he can't help it.

Alayna and Arielle... now that's the bond I want to see grow. As of right now, Arielle is afraid of Alayna. She's too loud. She's too up in her face. And she cries every time she's around. Alayna on the other hand adores "her baby" as she calls her. She wants to help with everything including diaper changes, bottles, and baths. She's rough with her but is learning to be more gentle and not so up in her face. I think Alayna is learning patience with her. She knows that the baby needs a lot of Mommy's attention and she's okay with it for the most part. And when I am busy... she takes it upon herself to rock her in her swing (slowly of course) and bounce her in her bouncer. She's never been jealous of her which is comepletely surprising to me... but sometimes she's very jealous at the fact that she doesn't get as much time with me as Arielle does.

My baby is growing so fast. I can't believe how fast they grow. It's amazes me.

My Sister: You're going to be a Tia again!
Me: To who?
My Sister: Us! (Meaning her and my brother-in-law I guess...)
Me: Really? Are you sure it's yours?
(Must have confused her cuz it took her a while to respond)
Sister: Well, duh!
Me: Oh I see.
(Pause)
Sister: That's it?!
Me: Oh yeah... April Fools to you too.
Sister: Jerk!
Me: I may be half asleep still... but Stupid I am not!

You can't fool me!
