The Queen: Michelle

The Queen: Michelle
I am 28 years old. Still a princess but the queen of my family. Spoiled beyond belief. Lucky and truely blessed. A lover. A crafter. A mother. A wife. A friend. This is me.

My King: Junior

My King: Junior
The LOVE of my life! He completes me and balances me out in every way. He's a workaholic. He's loud, blunt, and crazy. He drinks Monsters like his life depends on it. Above all he is the greatest Daddy I could ever ask for, for my children. And he treats me like his Queen (and he calls me that too).

The Model Child: Diego Ray

The Model Child: Diego Ray
9 years old. My only boy. He is the epitome of the perfect child. He is so responsible and independent. Wise beyond his years. He is laughter, he is love, he is compassion, he is simply amazing. He keeps me grounded and reminds me always that I am beautiful. He is a natural born leader and takes care of the household and family better than me!

The Diva: Alayna Danae

The Diva: Alayna Danae
7 years old. She is drama. My fashionista for sure with a style all her own. Sensitive and loving when she wants to be. Thumbsucker. My biggest headache because she is the most like me. She is the only one who can cause me to become uncontrollably angry. She loves to dance. She loves to model. My bookworm and most academic.

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace
4 years old. This one is something else. She is pure comedy. Never a dull moment with her crazy antics. She is also the crybaby. She does things her own way. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to be cute to get it. My Disney loving pal. So girly. Her favorite color is pink. Loves Rapunzel. Will wear a dress every single day. Can't leave the house without a bow in her hair. She refuses.

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle
2 years old. My sweet baby. She loves her Mommy above all else. She is a cuddlebug for sure. The calmest most well behaved baby ever! But she has TONS of energy. She is so small and petite. She loves to sing and dance. She so SO ready for ballet and has yet to even step foot in a class. She loves Minnie Mouse and watching Disney Jr. She is hilarious and talks way too much.

Halloween Party

We decided to have a halloween party this year instead of taking the kids trick-or-treating.

I am too tired to write everything out in detail so let me just show you some of the pictures...

Me and my Fairy

He won best costume

The Cholo got popped by Swat!

A Group Picture

The Caveman Family

The 4 Pregos... Nichole said, "Where's MY bump?"

My Dad the Cholo and my Princess the Fairy

My Kids are just too cute.

My Mom as Maleficent

God's Gift to Women and his Woman!

My Friend Tiff sewed all our caveman costumes!

Kika the Mad Scientist

Best Costume Ever!

My Pumpkin getting her treats!

16 Weeks - Weekly Update - The Avocado

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.

How far along? 16 weeks

Total Weight Gain: Still none surprisingly... I guess it's just filling in what I have.

Maternity Clothes? Yes all the time... it's the only thing that's comfortable.

Stretch Marks? None that I know of... still very itchy though

Sleep? I have been sleeping better finally... still tired but I can survive without a nap on some days.

Best Moment This Week: Getting our apartment so we can start preparing for the baby.

Movement: I was eating Lucas the other night (probably not the best thing to eat but I was craving it) and the baby kicked!

Food Cravings: Mostly just chinese food. I've had it like 3 times this week.

Gender: I would like a boy but would be fine with either.

Labor Signs: None yet... Way too early

Belly Button - In

What I miss: Not peeing every 30 minutes! Well it seems that way anyway...

What I am looking forward to: My next appointment on Nov. 12th because that's when our ultrasound will be scheduled.

Weekly Wisdom: Don't try to move when you are watching 7 kids and are pregnant... makes for tiredness doubletime.

Milestones: Moving while pregnant. Again.

Lots Going On

I know I am a bad blogger... but don't I always go into a blogging slump at this time of year? It always gets really really busy! So I can't promise regular posting until after the holidays but I will definitely try!

First of all with all the holidays and our never-ending parties I am always trying to hurry up and plan things, make things, and all that stuff that I am way too busy for the internet. And not only that but I don't even pick up my camera much anymore because life is... well it's hectic. And I feel incompletely posting without pictures. It's like... who actually READS my blog?

Number two... I have made it my goal to hand make all my Christmas presents (for both kids and adults) along with my xmas cards. So I am a busy bee trying to make things. I have a good start but am NOWHERE NEAR done... or a quarter of the way done for that matter. Plus this week even that has been interrupted by the making of halloween costumes. Which by the way, I made... okay no... my friend Tiffany made for me tonight... while I kindly kept her company and talked her ear off for a few hours. So all this craftiness is taking up all my free time in between "trying" to clean (which I am NOT doing a good job at) and running around town taking kids to school, picking kids up from school, running errands, doing favors, Dr's appointments... it's like it NEVER ends! So yes I am a little frazzled and you may have to bear with me... but I am finally having energy these days and I can finally go out all day and do these things without needing like 10 naps. So there's a lot of catching up to do.

And last, as if I don't already have my plate full. We're moving out. We're renting an apartment not far from my parents house... and we signed today and get the keys Saturday morning. So I have to add packing and unpacking to this mess of chaos I call my life. We are all very excited. Diego is the most excited because he will get his own room and won't have to share! But I am just as excited. This is the push Jr needs to start managing his money the right way. He's been doing good ever since going into business for himself. I am so proud of him! And best of all... I think my parents will love having their house back and not have little children around all day. Who am I kidding? They are gonna miss us like crazy? They were even secretly telling me they don't want us to go.. but don't worry I let them down gently. It's for their own good. Right parentals? Don't listen to them if they deny it... they can't live without us. I think it's called denial.

So yeah it'll be a busy upcoming weekend for me and a busy week as well. I don't know how soon we'll get our internet on but I have Wi-fi on my MacBook and I have my blackberry so I won't be completely gone.

Ugh... I am tired already just typing this all out! If you don't hear for me in more than a week... please send a search party and make sure I am still alive. That's all folks!

Me and my sister

My friend Dawn and her husband Jacob came! And they brought their baby Lily!

Dawn and I

We had my favorite food... Pozole!!!

My friend, my love, my partner in crime Tiffany!

Guests

Tiff made me my cupcakes! I loved them so much and they fit my "Tiffany/25th Silver Birthday" theme.

Happy Birthday to me! (That candle has seen many cakes and many birthdays in the last 10 years it's like tradition)

Making a wish!

And OF COURSE my husband had to get me...

My bling and my cupcake...

The man who made my WHOLE week extra special. He's the absolute best!

Gifts!
A gift card!

Diego wanted to be in our pictures... ain't he cute?

I got some moneys... I am gonna go shoe shopping I believe.

Tiff got bored of watching me open all my gifts and decided to take a nap. LOL J/K

All the cards that contained money or gift cards were so cute and ironically all but 2 had something to do with shopping. Am I that much of a shopaholic? LOL

Funny story: Everytime we go to the store and see cute umbrellas I tell Jr to buy me one. He always fights me and says it's a waste of money because AZ gets 1 day of rain a year. So I always tell him that I need to own one for that "1" day. But he fights me to no end. My Dad didn't get a picture of it... but Tiff bought me one! LOL Yay!
Along with another velour pantsuit. She's awesome!

And after I was done with all my gifts which included lots of perfumes and body sprays and stuff like that...

My parents got me...

A log?

No no... they love me more than that...

I got a silver dangle bracelet for my silver birthday! How fitting! And it's so pretty! Best parents ever!

The rest of the night was spent playing games! And it was hilarious and so much fun!

So a quick thanks:

Mom & Dad - Thanks for creating me some 25 years ago. Oh and thanks for sharing your 28th wedding anniversary with me... you should have charted and my birthday might not have ever conflicted with such a momentous day. Mom thanks for the food, the love, and the bracelet cuz I KNOW yo picked it... and did I mention the love? Cuz I know you love me so much since I am your little baby and all. Dad thanks for my shopping spree and thanks for letting me be the apple of your eye. I like being Daddy's Girl.

Tiff - You are the best friend anyone could have. Thanks for my cupcakes they were so good. You never let me down. And thanks for generally just being my friend even if I do have some ghetto in me.

Jr - You made my whole week the best week ever. Thank you for always spoiling me to no end, loving me even when I am a brat, and always putting me first. You're more than I could have asked for... and by far the greatest gift I've ever gotten. Love you.

And thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with me!

15 Weeks - Weekly Update - The Naval Orange

Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

How far along? 15 weeks

Total Weight Gain: Still none surprisingly... I guess it's just filling in what I have.

Maternity Clothes? Yes all the time... it's the only thing that's comfortable.

Stretch Marks? None that I know of

Sleep? I have been sleeping better finally... still tired but I can survive without a nap on some days.

Best Moment This Week: Celebrating my 25th birthday the whole week! And house/apartment searching!

Movement: Haven't really felt anything much anymore except for some flutters every once in a while.

Food Cravings: I have had something I wanted every day this week. But my biggest craving for this week was soda... too bad I stayed away from it... just drank sips here and there from Jr's.

Gender: I have convinced myself it's a boy. In my head I even have everything worked out. I'll have to start my plans over if it's a girl.

Labor Signs: None yet... Way too early

Belly Button - In

What I miss: Pants that fit. Although my maternity pants are comfy they are too loose in the worst areas... not tight enough in the waist (cuz I want room to grow) and they are waaaaaaay too long.

What I am looking forward to: Finding out the gender because I really want to start planning so we can buy big ticket items and such.

Weekly Wisdom: I am gonna still hold out hope on my favorite old wives tale... "No morning sickness=boy... Terrible sickness=girl". I was never sick with Diego, Horribly sick with Alayna, Terribly sick with Arielle, and nothing again with this one. BOY?

Milestones: Well I turned 25! I never in my life imagined me being 25 with 4 kids (or almost 4). It's crazy but I love my family.

A Quarter of a Century

It's my 25th birthday!!! Yay!

I went to sleep at 7:30pm last night (can you believe that?) and slept until 6:50am when I was woken up by my Mom and 3 kiddos singing the "Happy Birthday" song. It's been a tradition in my family since we were tiny that we all gather in the morning and sing to the birthday person. So it's cute that my kids are following the same tradition we always have. Even Arielle muttered happy birthday after she heard the other 2 a few times. It was shocking and adorable. Of course the rest of the day she hasn't repeated it. But how perfect was that? It was so clear too.

And Diego presented me with this:

And he said, "Mom I was gonna make you eggs, and cereal, and orange juice on like a tray thing..." and I say, "Like breakfast in bed?" and he says, "... yeah but I have to go to school." Haha! Well it's the thought that counts right!

All the kids could talk about at the bus stop this morning was what kind of party I was having. Alayna insisted on Princess. So funny.

So after we get Diego on the bus... Jr calls me and asks if I want to go quading today. I was impressed... he never has anything remotely planned for my birthday and even though it was mostly fun for the guys... I just wanted to get out of the house. We had a blast. I rode around on the trails with Jr... No hills for me... boo! And we took Diego out of school early along with a lot of the other kids. They were happy to get out a couple hours early. Good thing Diego only has lunch and his specials (PE, Music, Art) in the afternoon. And all his important subjects are in the morning. Jr bought me my choice lunch and I chose Chipotle. It was so good. We spent all day out there. It was great.

It took all of 2 seconds after arriving for the kids to practically roll in the dirt and become dirty...

And my kids (all 3) love riding. None of them are scared at all.

But then the older guys played alone for a while so that they could be crazy

Okay so maybe Loyiel is just crazy...

And that makes Alayna sad when she can't have a turn every time. She's an absolute Drama Queen!

And then at towards the end of the day I got my ride. I am always pregnant when we go (in the last 5 years only 1 time I haven't been) so I never get a full ride. But hey it was fun anyway!

And Arielle got her first ride and she LOVED it! She cried and cried when we had to leave and she had to get off. She yelled "weeee" the entire time riding.

After that we came home... everyone showered.

And my Dad and the kiddos decided to bake me a cake. It was funny how Diego was trying to keep it a secret from me. I had to pretend like I knew nothing about it. It was so good... chocolate cake. My favorite.

*Photos courtesy of my Daddy since I was banned from the kitchen*
(P.S. Don't mind my looks I am sunburned, TIRED, and had just gotten out of the shower)

So all in all one of my BEST birthdays ever!

Thank you Daddy for the cake! Thanks Mom for serenading me in the morning. And thanks to everyone who went quading with us (Nichole, Loyiel, Chris, and Franklin) who made my day fun and special!

Thanks!
