The Queen: Michelle

The Queen: Michelle
I am 28 years old. Still a princess but the queen of my family. Spoiled beyond belief. Lucky and truely blessed. A lover. A crafter. A mother. A wife. A friend. This is me.

My King: Junior

My King: Junior
The LOVE of my life! He completes me and balances me out in every way. He's a workaholic. He's loud, blunt, and crazy. He drinks Monsters like his life depends on it. Above all he is the greatest Daddy I could ever ask for, for my children. And he treats me like his Queen (and he calls me that too).

The Model Child: Diego Ray

The Model Child: Diego Ray
9 years old. My only boy. He is the epitome of the perfect child. He is so responsible and independent. Wise beyond his years. He is laughter, he is love, he is compassion, he is simply amazing. He keeps me grounded and reminds me always that I am beautiful. He is a natural born leader and takes care of the household and family better than me!

The Diva: Alayna Danae

The Diva: Alayna Danae
7 years old. She is drama. My fashionista for sure with a style all her own. Sensitive and loving when she wants to be. Thumbsucker. My biggest headache because she is the most like me. She is the only one who can cause me to become uncontrollably angry. She loves to dance. She loves to model. My bookworm and most academic.

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace
4 years old. This one is something else. She is pure comedy. Never a dull moment with her crazy antics. She is also the crybaby. She does things her own way. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to be cute to get it. My Disney loving pal. So girly. Her favorite color is pink. Loves Rapunzel. Will wear a dress every single day. Can't leave the house without a bow in her hair. She refuses.

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle
2 years old. My sweet baby. She loves her Mommy above all else. She is a cuddlebug for sure. The calmest most well behaved baby ever! But she has TONS of energy. She is so small and petite. She loves to sing and dance. She so SO ready for ballet and has yet to even step foot in a class. She loves Minnie Mouse and watching Disney Jr. She is hilarious and talks way too much.

Well that's all for today folks...

Nani's Birthday Part One

Friday the 22nd was my niece Brianna's 7th Birthday. Wow time sure does fly! I can't believe in the blink of an eye she's 7 already. I clearly remember the day she was born. Being that she was the first Grandchild being born to my parents we were pretty excited! I was a Junior in High School and was in dance class when I got the call to the front office that I was going home. My mom had come to pick me up early. I left dressed out in dance clothes and all... we picked up my sister and went on our merry way to the hospital. We spent the whole day there and Brianna was born sometime in the evening. Jen had a quick labor and I got to meet the monster that was my niece. She was huge but beautiful. And from that moment on I have been completely in love with her, the kind of love that only an aunt can have for her niece. She was perfect. And although she's grown and has quite a bit of attitude now... who am I kidding... if you know Brianna, you know the girl is NOTHING BUT attitude and drama! But we love her nonetheless. It's just crazy to think how fast they grow.

So for her 7th birthday my sister in law hired me to plan her whole party. She decided on a High School Musical theme and although tough at first... I came up with some great ideas. After her party she told me how much she loved all the stuff I made for her and thanked me for planning her party. She was so excited and genuinely thankful. I was a little surprised because Brianna isn't usually like that. She never says Thank You... or most of the time she doesn't... and when you do something nice for her or buy her something she usually finds a way to complain about it. Mind you, this isn't ALL the time... sometimes sweet Brianna makes her appearance and you can't help but just love her.

So I am glad she had a good time at her party. She's suffering from middle child syndrome really really bad. Her baby brother turned a year old the day after her and not only does she have to get used to having a baby brother after 6 year of her being the baby... but her brother was almost born on her birthday. So it was nice for her to have a day (actually 4 days of celebrating) all to herself. (We'll celebrate her baby brother's birthday in a few more weeks.)

Here's my usual long list of pictures: Enjoy!

Me and the birthday girl Brianna Linda
Being silly with Grandpa
She loves him to pieces
Part of the gift we gave her... it's a picture frame that I made with a High School Musical theme
She was embarrassed because on it I wrote "Brianna <3's href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz3QSYXaEHBQBVb55d1lYVY59_aYzh138j8J0IYGlaphxLuU7njs8EdRYMXW0_tYuCWtvqs2ejteJwgpH5HbivQED4YRdbrB5cT5xiPicPEq335cJrXmqX3m8Ltdu1XCofN9SYr2Of_z37/s1600-h/P1020240.JPG"> She got High School Musical on DVD...
And also number 2... score!
Struggling to read her cards... cuz "They were in cursive!"
What a silly girl!
Make a wish Nani...
Doesn't he look like the PROUD father? Holding his daughters face flat into the cake...
My other niece Tallynna who was so excited to discover "Troy" was on her cake!
It was hilarious to see how excited she was about it... she even saved him for last... but he was eaten
Since my nephew's birthday was the day after Brianna's his other Grandma made him a cupcake just for him (She also made Brianna's cake... isn't she fabulous?)
And Juanito enjoyed...
Every minute of it!
Then Brianna posed for a few pictures with Grandma and Grandpa

After a while my brother in law Loyiel thought it was time to get back into the pool
And he took my brother with him... well actually my brother kinda threw himself in... do you really think that scrawny Loyiel could get my brother in?
My husband and daughter
Then the boys got an idea...
Poor unsuspecting Jen was just relaxing...
And in they went...
With a triple big splash...
And laughed at her afterwards.
She was not amused... LOL
All in all it was a long day... I had no sleep the night before or the day of but it was worth it. Brianna had the best time. And fun was had by all who attended.

3 More Days...

For what you ask?

Another Road Trip to California that's what!

I am so excited to get out of here and do something fun this weekend. Sure we go there a lot but it doesn't get old. I love it. Diego and Alayna look forward to it too. I told them yesterday we were going this weekend and they even cleaned their room SPOTLESS... because I told them it had to be cleaned before we left. As for Arielle, this will be her 2nd trip already... and now that she's a little older, I hope she doesn't bug too much on the drive. She was only 6 weeks the first time so it was much easier. So I've been doing laundry all morning so I can start packing... with 5 of us I have to start early to make sure that I don't forget anything.

So I am not sure exactly what our itinerary is as of yet... but it should include shopping in the alleys, getting our nails done, and best of all... the beach! Oh and of course eating tacos (or in my case sopes... not big on tacos) for every meal of the day. I can taste them already!

I CANNOT WAIT!

So anywho... I figured I'd post some pictures from last summer when we took the kids to the beach... it was Alayna's first time. She went a few times while in the womb but she couldn't remember that. How exciting for Arielle to go for the first time! Diego and Alayna were both over a year old the first time they ever went... so this may be interesting. I think we'll have lots of fun.

Here ya go:
