My Princess Alayna

I have a little Princess and her name is Alayna Danae. She is 2 1/2 and one amazing little girl! Sometimes I think how can I have room in my life and heart for ANOTHER princess? She may be a brat... but there is a side of Alayna that only I see. She is super super sweet. She loves to cuddle and be hugged and kissed. She is soooo girly. The dresses, the shoes, the hair, makeup, and nails. Everything! She hates getting dirty. She loves to sing and model. And she's quite the actress whether she tries to or not. Yes. Drama Queen! One little body with so much personality and attitude that's for sure! She's definately a free spirit and is usually dancing to the beat of her own drum.
She's like my little best friend.
So I wanted to showcase her in some pictures that I took after the birthday party on Monday. They definately to me show her personality.

See the princess? She loves to wear dresses but plays rough in them too. We have to constantly remind her that she's a girl and should be showing her chonies. She's catching on...

Rockstar Hair! She was the only one at the party with Purple hair and Green/Blue nails. All the other little girls were in pink. And as much as she is an all pink kind of girl... she also shows that she doesn't always follow the crowd. She does her own thing... free spirited.

Her prissy little stance! Showing off her cool chanclas quite proud of herself for making them. She loves to model and show off what she's wearing. And she puts together the weirdest outfits! But she has her own style.

But she's still my little baby. Sweet and innocent.
I hope she's ready to share us with a little sister. And I hope that she is able to adjust quickly to the new changes she's about to face. She loves babies... but I don't know how she will react to a baby taking her place.

Rockstar Diva Birthday Party!

Cassidy the birthday girl!
On Monday afternoon, Alayna was invited to a birthday party for one of my friend's from theknot daughters. She turned 5 and had the cutest rockstar party ever! It was girls only, so Alayna and I attended while Jr and Diego spent some quality time together.
So what was on the itinerary? They got to do a craft, paint their nails and toes, get their hair done, and just be little divas for a few hours. They girls were truly adorable!
Of course I had to take a lot of pictures!
Here's Alayna making her flip flops that she got to take home with her. Such an easy project! We just tied the material around them and instant "cool shoes"!

Ta-da Mommy! All done and proud of her work!

The diva process begins... with the flip flops and a pink boa!

Little Kaylee (the daughter of another knottie)
Isn't she just the cutest little thing... flirting with my camera!

Oh look at the attitude... she kept saying "Don't touch my nails Mommy"

Next it was her turn to get her hair done.
It was so cute because all the girls got to pick what color they wanted to paint their hair... and they also got sprayed with glitter!

All done!
She wasn't mad... she was just getting tired so she looks like she was crying or something.

Now here she is getting her pedicure done. She was attracted to that bright blue color. She got it on her fingers and her toes. Kinda funny because usually she's a pink girl.

And fixing the nails she messed up!

Look at those adorable little piggies!

Blowing the nails to make sure they dried this time.

They took all the girls outside for a group photo! Don't they look so cute?
After everyone was all done... they ate cake and opened presents.
We had so much fun and Alayna enjoyed it so much! She's such a girly girl!

Diego's 5th Birthday

Today my oldest baby turns 5! As I sit here pregnant and just about due with my third baby... I wonder... How the heck is time going by so fast? I just want to keep them all little forever and ever. But obviously that is never going to happen as Diego has proven. He is one independent little boy. He no longer wants to be called my "Baby"... even though I try to explain to him that he will ALWAYS be my baby no matter how old he gets. I feel with each and every day that he needs me less and less. I try and hold on to the baby in him but somehow I feel him slipping away. I understand he's starting a new point in his life... he'll be a kindergartner this fall and I will then have to share him with the world. But I must admit, I am selfish and wish I could just keep him home with me forever.

So in honor of my little man... I wrote a little poem and made a slide show for him. Happy Birthday Diego Ray... and many many more! Mommy loves you!

Yours was the first heart
I felt beating inside of me.

Yours was the first kick I
felt that warmed my heart.

Yours were the first eyes I
looked into and glimpsed a
small reflection of myself.

Yours were the first hands
that gripped my finger and
grabbed a hold of my soul.

Yours was the first smile
that filled me with joy.

Yours was the first cry that
was music to my ears.

Yours was the first laugh that
brought peace to my heart.

Yours was the first love that
made me understand the joy of
motherhood.
You Were First.

Diego,

I have always loved you. All my life I imagined having a child of my own. It was my greatest ambition to be a mom, and then you came along. And when you were born, I was born. The real me with a new reality, a new world, a new hope, a new purpose... That was you. So much a part of me and yet so completely you.

I love you.

Those words mean more than you’ll ever know. I carried you close to my heart all my life until I met you.I live my life for you, my first child, my first baby... The one who made my dream come true. I thank God for you. For who you are and who you are turning out to be.

There’s nothing you could do to make me love you more, except be who you are… forever!
I will live on through you whoever you turn out to be will always have a little part of me as well as your children, and their children. Our bond is immortal.

Sometimes I feel you put a lot of pressure on yourself to be perfect or to set the best example for your sister. I always want you to know that I love you just the way you are. In my eyes, you're as close to perfect as anyone can get.

I love you. I love you. I love you.

Easter Weekend

As usual we had a great time in Phoenix Easter weekend.

We started off by taking our kids and our nephew Noe to see the Easter bunny. The town of Verrado which is about 15 minutes west of where my parents live in Avondale, was having an Easter celebration. My friend Dawn whose Dad has a traveling petting zoo told us about it and invited us out to the event. I am glad we went.

Diego and Noe had so much fun feeding and petting the animals. There were chickens, sheep, chicks, bunnies, and even a Pig! the highlight was getting to feed the baby cows! They were so cute! Alayna though wanted no part of it. She was content sitting outside the pen in her stoller where they couldn't reach her.
They did get their pictures taken with the Easter bunny. The boys liked him... but again Alayna screamed her head off saying he was going to Bite Her! LOL. Jr had to sit with her for her picture and she's looking away screaming "Mommy!" It was hilarious and I'm glad I have proof. I would post the pictures but I need to scan them. Sorry!
There were more activities for the kids including an easter egg hunt where Diego only found 1 egg. Him and Noe were too slow and that's all they came back with. But they had fun regardless.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After that we were all hungry so we went back to my sister's house to make some homemade hamburgers. YUM! And then we were off to the park to hang out with my best friend, her boyfriend, and our goddaughter. Jazmine brough Diego (her Godson) a big easter basket full of stuff and one for Alayna as well. We gave our goddaughter a new dress and a little bunny. The kids played and ate ice cream and had a good time. They got really tired and we went home to put them down for a nap.

Here's our precious Goddaughter Arianna.
Her Nino is certainly in love with her and hogs her from me! You'll hardly ever see me in a picture with her. But they look so cute together don't you think? He's preparing for for the fact that after the birth of his next daughter, him and Diego will be completely outnumbered, so he better get used to it.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Then to keep going with our busy day... after the kids were down for a much needed nap at my Mother-in Law's house... Jr and I escaped for a while to attend the baptism ceremony for Jennifer's mom, Linda. It was beautiful. Good thing we didn't take the kids with us because it was 2 hours long and they would have bugged.

Easter Sunday

I made a slideshow to showcase the pictures. We had a lot of fun. The kids ate entirely too much candy but oh well.

Stranded on the way to Phoenix

Yup just our luck that we'd get stranded.
We had been waiting patiently all week for my Dr's appointment last friday to see if it would be ok for us to drive to Phoenix for Easter. We really didn't wanna spend it all alone here in Tucson. So when we got the ok... we were so excited. We drove home and packed and we're out of the house in about half an hour. I texted my mom and told her we were coming and got on the phone with my best friend Jazmine. About 45 minutes into our drive I felt the car a little shaky. It was kinda weird... so I ask my husband Jr... "Is that our car or the road?" Not a second after I spit out the last word we hear a pop and something slamming loudly against the car, so we pull to the side and get off. I thought we had a flat but fortunately just the tread came off the tire. So we're like in the middle of nowhere.
We tried calling my Brother-in Law Loyiel about 40 times but he didn't pick up once. So I know he hates to answer his phone when my husband calls him... so I text him and tell him we're stranded and he called back right away. Jerk... lol. We tell him the situation and he says he'll call us back.
So we're on the side of the highway with the kids and Jr didn't think that was safe... so he drives the car, as is, very slowly to the nest exit which was a mile and a half away. We get off and there's nothing out there! Not a gas station or anything. So we decide to press our luck and push forward to the next one. Finally we reach the next exit and stop and a Pilot Truck Stop. By this time Loyiel had talked to my mom, she called my Dad, and he was on his way to find a tire and come rescue us! Yay! Did I mention it decided to be the like first hot day of the year? LOL.
Well as I mentioned I was talking with my friend Jazmine when all of this happened and she was determined to come rescue us as well... despite me having told her that we were ok and my Daddy was coming. No! That wasn't enough for her. She beat my Dad to us with water and sodas for us. LOL.
My Dad arrived like 20 minutes later and we got the tire fixed. And we were all off on our merry way again. So we made it to Phoenix for Easter weekend.
Thanks Daddy and Jazmine!

Sorry...

Sorry that I haven't been blogging as much lately. I will get back on track soon. Just with our constant trips to Phoenix and being extremely busy I haven't had a chance to even get online much.

On top of that I'm 2 weeks from my due date and we're just kinda waiting around for this baby to make her arrival. Hopefully sooner rather than later because Mommy is tired!

Thanks for being patient with me... I will be back soon.

Babies, Babies, and more Babies!

Babies, Babies, and Babies... Oh my!

It's no secret that my family just keeps growing and growing. And I'm not talking about my intermediate family... I'm talking my extended family. My Dad's side is just getting bigger and bigger. Every year we have one or two births lately. And it hasn't stopped. I am due in about 2 weeks... my Uncle's wife is due right after me (it'll be a race to see which one of us pops first) and my cousin Vanessa is due in about 7 weeks. That'll bring two new little girls and another little boy into our family. How exciting.

But it seems like the whole world is having babies. A lot of my friends are either pregnant as well or just finding out they are expecting. My best friend just had a baby who is 3 months old. And my husband's sister is pregnant with twins. I will have a niece and nephew on his side of the family too. Kinda funny because my Mother-in-Law is going from 4 grandkids to 7 in just a couple more months. And my daughter Alayna, who has been the ONLY princess on my husband's side for the past almost 3 years... will now have to share the throne with her baby sister AND one of the twins. She has a hard enough time sharing my parents with her two older cousin Brianna and Tallynna... now she'll have to share my husband's parents too. I'm curious to see how she adjusts to that! So all in all... it's a happy time for both sides of my family. I hope all the grandparents are ready to have 7 grankids each. Because I for one am anxious to get this baby out already.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Sunday was baby shower day for me. We attended my Sister-in-Law's baby shower in the early afternoon... and by late afternoon/evening we all gathered at my Grandma's house to celebrate my uncle's upcoming arrival.

Here's a few pictures... and many of the kids we ALREADY have running around!

Diego's 5th Birthday Party

This past Saturday we celebrated Diego's 5th Birthday. His actual birthday isn't until the 27th but due to the fact that my baby is due pretty soon, we decided to celebrate early so as not to ruin his day. So with that... we had ANOTHER Cars birthday party for him for the second year in a row. Diego thought it was awesome. And had a blast.

We invited all his cousins. And he was happy that most of them were able to make it. My husband even rented a Cars Bouncer to jump in as a complete surprise! I was not expecting it and by the look on Diego's face when he arrived to his party, he was pretty surprised as well.

His Godmother, who is also my very best friend, bought him a pinata. This also made him very excited. When it came time to hit it, of course he went first. And I must have one strong little boy because he was the ONLY one who got to hit it. After a few swings it cracked open and the candy went flying. Didn't seem like the kids cared much that they never got a turn... they all ran for the candy.

Here's the little sister Alayna after the pinata

So then it was time to open gifts. And oh my... why do these kids always score in this department? I wish I was a kid again. He got Cars toys and clothing galore. But among his favorite gifts had to be the Nintendo DS that his Nina bought him along with the Cars game and all the accessories that she bought. He's been wanting since Christmas and was so happy that she got it for him. Grandma and Grandpa obviously know their Grandson very well too because they bought him a digital camera! Not one for kids either, a REAL digital camera. He was beyond excited because he's constantly after my Dad and myself to use our cameras.

And the party is not complete without cake... and the traditional face smashing. So after we sang Happy Birthday, Diego's face was pushed into the cake. He was a good sport and laughed about it since he knows with his Daddy around... it's inevitable.

I'll post a slideshow soon with more pictures...

And I officially have dedicated my Thursday blog days to showcase some of the pictures Diego takes with his new camera. And believe me, we have quite a collection already.

Our New Dog

So Sunday Jr was at his aunt's house visiting. The kids and I stayed home because I was pretty tired from Saturday. Plus I wanted to clean the house from having my family and friends over.

When he came home he called the kids and I downstairs and said he had a surprise in the car for us. So we all went to the garage and Diego opened up the door to the backseat and to our surprise there was a beautiful black Lab laying there!

I turned to Jr and asked him why he had his aunt's dog. It turns out that they don't have the time to be taking care of him and giving him the attention he needs. And his uncle wanted to let him go. But Jr's aunt knew that Diego's birthday is coming up and that he's been wanting a dog for so long... so she asked Jr is he'd consider letting her give it to Diego as a gift. Jr loves dogs and is such a softy when it comes to his kids and immediately said yes. He's rather see the dog be loved here then thrown out to the streets. He's always had dogs growing up and truly believes every boy should have his dog.

Well the dog is so sweet! He was terrified to get out of the car at first. Jr literally had to pick him up and carry him outside to the back yard. We've been around the dog before many times so he seemed comfortable after a while with us. Diego was a little afraid of him at first because he's still a puppy so he's very playful. And he would get excited and jump on Diego to play. But the dog is bigger than Diego when he stands on his two legs. I can see how he could be intimidating. But I let the dog jump up on me and I played with him for an hour or so... so that Diego would understand that he didn't want to hurt him... he just wanted to play and he doesn't know his own strength. But Diego warmed up to him right away... and for the rest of the day he played in the backyard with him. He taught him to fetch. And they looked so cute together!

Alayna is deathly afraid of him. So I am hoping that little by little she gets to know the dog. I understand he's huge... but I've always had a fear of dogs and still do mostly... and I don't want her to be the same way. I think over time she will come to like him too. He really is the sweetest dog who just wants to be loved.
Funny Sidenote: We told Diego that when we had the money to get him a collar and a leash we'd take him out for walks regularly... until then Diego had to run around with him in the backyard so he could get some excercise. Diego was worried that it wouldn't be enough excercise for the dog. So a little while later I hear a lot of banging coming from his room. I thought he was still outside playing so I go into his room... and I find him emptying out his piggy bank with all the change my mom gave him this weekend. I asked him what he was doing and he said since it was HIS dog that he should take the responsibility of buying the collar and leash. He had a whole $1.43 in there and took it to Jr and explained what it was for. It was so cute! So today we took him to petsmart to get the leash. He was so excited to have enough money to buy the leash "all by himself" or so he thought. The cashier even gave him a handful of doggie bisquits in a plastic bag to bring home for him. Diego was beyond excited!

Now if we could just settle on a name! I like Harley... but Diego likes Dinoco McQueen (figures). But ultimately it's up to him and he hasn't quite decided yet.

San Xavier Mission

Wow... first off I'd like to say that I have been trying to post since Sunday with no luck! Blogger really hated me! Maybe they think I post too many pictures and wanted a break. But patience is a virtue because I finally am able to post about our trip to the San Xavier Mission.

So my husband turned 22 on Friday! So he asked me if we could invite family over from Phoenix and see if they would like to cook for him and celebrate his birthday. He texted his mom, 2 brothers, sister, and my parents. No one was interested except for my parents. I was disappointed for him although he expected it. His sister's birthday is 2 days after his so she's usually first priority being the only girl. But he didn't seem to mind and was pretty excited that my parents were coming at that my mom agreed to cook for him. So we also decided to invite our friends Felicia and James and their 2 kids to come on down. They accepted as well. And then my mom said that my aunt and her 3 kids would also be joining them. So we were going to have a full house after all!

So we decided that to get out of the house on Saturday... we'd take a trip to the San Xavier Mission. And it was indeed a good idea.

The church was small but gorgeous! So many photo opportunities there. Unfortunately being 35 weeks pregnant I couldn't run around and take as many pictures as I usually do. But I did take a lot of my family... as they all ran around exploring.

The ceiling in the church

The Juan Diego Chapel. My brother is name Juan Diego... and my son is named after him so we took a picture of him standing in front of it. Diego got a kick out of the fact that his name was on the sign.

So we then decide after touring the church to go into the gift shop. With so many of us in there we all split up and looked at all the different things. My mom decided to buy Jr and Diego, Alayna, and Ducky a cross necklace as a souvenir. And as we're picking them out... Diego loses sight of us for one second and all we he hear is a scream and cry. Jr being the quickest reacted quick to see what was going on. Diego panicked because he was holding Alayna and Ducky's hands and they walked a little too far away from us and he freaked out. Jr scooped him up and tried to calm him. He did as soon as he saw Jr. But boy did he scare us!

So we took him outside the store. When Jr asked him why he got so scared, Diego replied... "See daddy... I was trying not to let my little sister and little cousin get lost so I told them to hold my hand. But they were walking too far away and when I turned around you guys were gone!"

The lady at the counter who was next to the kids when he panicked even said. He screamed and cried but never once let go of Ducky and Alayna's hands. She was impressed.
Nothing like Diego to wake us up and do something memorable on our trip.
So here's Diego with his cross

And here's Alayna with hers

Then it was decided that everyone wanted to climb the hill where there was a big cross at the top. They climbed and played up there for a while. Unfortunately I didn't get to join in on the fun... but my mom and I stayed at the bottom and talked with Felicia for a while. And we got to sit and relax.

The King of the World... or so he thinks

Look at this handsome man hiding behind the bushes.

Soon it was getting later so we decided to head back towards the mission and have all the new rosaries and necklaces blessed with Holy Water before we headed home to the dinner that was promised would be cooked that night.

Jamma blessing Alayna

Daddy blessed Diego and his necklace
Jr almost took a bath in the Holy Water!

So as we were leaving we decided to eat some Indian fry bread to hold us over until dinner. It was good! But the kids were way tired and we ate quickly and headed back to my house to put them all down for a nap!

Thanks Mom, Dad, Kika, Felicia, and James for spending the weekend with us. We had a great time! And at least Jr got some fun his birthday weekend.

Riding the Quads

We're very into family activities as some of you may know. Jr and I love to find things to do with our kids or our whole family for that matter.

Well his old brother Luis just recently bought two quads... so of course we were dying to try them out! We invited his brothers and sisters to barbecue and go take them out for a spin.

The kids LOVED them! He only bought 2 so obviously we all had to take turns using them. And the kids would cry every time it was someone else's turn to ride.

Even I took a quick ride with my husband on flat ground of course! No hills and bumps for this pregnant lady!

So here's some pictures of our fun:

Conversations With My Son Diego

A few weeks ago

Diego: Mom, I love my Grandma.
Me: I am pretty sure she loves you a lot too.
Diego: I love her even if she's old.
Me: (Laughing) I don't think she's that old!
Diego: But Mom she is because she goes to the Dr a lot. And she has brown pimples on her face. And sometimes she looks tired. But I love her.
Me: Well everyone gets older... but she still has a lot more growing to do. She'll live to be as old as Abuelita one day.
Diego: Wow I didn't know that Grandma could get that old.
Me: (Still laughing) Well everybody can live to be that old.
Diego: Next time she goes to the Dr I am going to tell him to give her juice to make her younger. Because I love her.

LOL. Well I established that he loves her.

Yesterday

Diego: Mom it's almost my birthday huh?
Me: Yes baby, in 24 days more. And how old will you be?
Diego: Well I'm 4 now so I'll be 5!!!
(Pause)
Diego: Mom I'm almost done...
Me: Done with what?
Diego: Growing. Cuz look... (then he proceeds to count to ten on his fingers)... See mom when I get to ten there's no more so I am done.
Me: Oh really?! In that case how is it that I am 23?
Diego: I dunno Mom, cuz I don't have that many fingers. I think it just means your old like my grandma and grandpa.

Today:

Diego overheard me telling my friend the other day that my husband and I have known eachother since we were kids.

Diego: Mom, how did you and Daddy meet?
Me: Daddy used to live in Tucson and Mommy lived in Phoenix, and when Daddy was in 4th grade he moved to Phoenix with your Nana and he started going to Mommy's school.
Diego: Really? And did you love him?
Me: No baby, I thought boys were yucky when I was little.
Diego: (starts laughing) My daddy wasn't yucky!
Me: Well he was to me!
Diego: But he loved you because he must have thought you were a beautiful woman. I think you're a beautiful woman.
Me: Aww well Thanks sweetheart! You make me feel beautiful. But Mommy was mean to Daddy at school until we got older.
Diego: Well if I liked a girl I would tell her she is a beautiful woman so she could love me and we could get married too like you and Daddy. And I would be mad if she was mean to me like you were mean to Daddy.
Me: I know I was mean to Daddy but eventually we loved eachother and we got married. And we're very happy now!
(Pause while Diego collects his thoughts)
Me: So does that mean you wanna get married?
Diego: I think I want to start dating.

(What? How does he even know the word dating!!!)

Me: You want to start dating now?!!
Diego: Yes Mom, I am almost 5 and I need to start thinking where I am going to get married.

(Long pause because I didn't know what to say.)

Diego: I think I'll get married at the park where you and Daddy got married because I love it there.
Me: It is a very pretty park. I like it to.
Diego: To tell you the truth Mom I wish you never got married. Because I think you're the most beautiful woman and I could have married you. But Daddy beat me and now you're his wife.
Me: (My heart fills with happiness) Aww baby! That's sweet! But you couldn't have married me anyways because I am your Mommy and that's even better!
Diego: I know but I wish I could.
Me: What are you thinking... you're too young to think about marriage anyway.
Diego: I'm getting older soon, and I have to think for the future.

The End

Jeez! Where does he think about half of this stuff? He's no normal 5 year old that's for sure!

An Unexpected Trip

Saturday afternoon, I got a phone call from my good friend Felicia. She was calling to ask what size clothes and shoes Diego wears... because his birthday party is in two weeks. So we're talking for a few minutes and next thing I know, she's coming to visit us in Tucson along with her husband and two kids. They decided that they wanted to take us to Tombstone and Bisbee. So they came to spend the night with us.

So this morning we woke up, ate breakfast, made lunches, and took off on our little trip. I had been to Tombstone when I was about 5 or 6 but I don't remember it. My dad and I had been talking about going as well. So I was excited to do something we haven't done before. Plus Jr and I sometimes like to take spontaneous trips like that.

The drive up was very short. Felicia had grown up around the area and she was a good tour guide. Telling us about the different places.

First we stopped at the Holy Trinity Monastery. It was a very beautiful little church. Since it's not springtime yet... there were no flowers in bloom but the place was still so pretty. Peacocks roam the grounds and at the entrance there is a huge stone cross.

Felicia and I actually went inside the church while the guys entertained the kids outside. It was small but beautiful. We admired the paintings and statues a while. Felicia wrote a prayer for her daughter and then we were off.

Next we were arrived to Tombstone. We stopped first at the Boothill Graveyard and walked around for a while. Once we got into town, we took a few tours and did a lot of walking. It was very interesting to learn about this old west town. The first tour we took was a Trolley tour and before it started, a cowboy came on with his gun and tried to steal our belongings! We were laughing and having fun, until Diego starting crying because he thought it was a real stick up. Poor baby! We had to explain to him that everything was fake and it was just a show for fun. The rest of the day he spent it asking when we were leaving because he didn't like walking the streets and seeing the cowboys with their guns. He held my hand the whole rest of the time we were there. He didn't like not one show we saw.

Once we saw everything and took a few pictures we decided to continue on to Bisbee. Due to high winds we didn't stay very long in Bisbee. Be we drove around enough to see the little town. The buildings were very unique. We found an area that had graffiti and took some pictures there. We also went and saw the mines. Wow looked like the Grand Canyon. But very cool to see.

So we had a great time! And were so tired by the time we were done. I am so glad Felicia and James invited us. (Thanks guys, you're awesome!) Hopefully we can do it again soon. I definitely want to go back again.

So my kids may be the next American Idols

It's no secret that my family loves to sing. And it's no secret that my daddy and I both love country music. It took me a while to get my husband to listen to country music but now he's a big fan. So of course my kids have now started listening to nothing but country music. Which I love because I never have to fight over what we're listening to in the car. Lucky me!
So my favorite song right now is "Stay" by Sugarland. I love the way it sounds. Jennifer Nettles has an awesome voice, and the video just makes me wanna cry right along with her. So needless to say, I blast the radio everytime it comes on. And I think my kids have learned it...
Next American Idols? What do you say?

I'm back!

Ok so I went on hiatus... not intentionally but I did. The month of December was a very busy month for me and thus didn't get much posting done. None at all actually.

And the first weekend in Januray we moved to Tucson! Yeah big move for us but it's actually been a very good thing. Sure we miss Phoenix but Tucson is really starting to grow on me. It's very quiet and calm... definately nothing like Phoenix. So we've been doing the family thing. We've been taking the kids out and spending a lot of time with them. It's been fun actually!

Not to mention the new house is nice. Everyone has their own space and that makes us all a lot happier. Jr and I finally have our own room which is nice for a change. Diego loves that he has his own room even though Alayna spends most of her time in there. Alayna does have her own room as well, she plays in there and makes a mess... but she doesn't have the luxuries like TV, DVD Player, Radio, or Vsmile... like Diego does. So she plays mostly in her brother's room. And sleeps in there. The 2 months we've been here she's slept in her room maybe 5 times total.

We also have the other bedroom being prepared for the new baby due in 6 weeks! I am getting pretty excited to finally have her here with us. I'll show you pictures on the progress of her room as I download them.

For now here are some pictures of the house:
