The Queen: Michelle

The Queen: Michelle
I am 28 years old. Still a princess but the queen of my family. Spoiled beyond belief. Lucky and truely blessed. A lover. A crafter. A mother. A wife. A friend. This is me.

My King: Junior

My King: Junior
The LOVE of my life! He completes me and balances me out in every way. He's a workaholic. He's loud, blunt, and crazy. He drinks Monsters like his life depends on it. Above all he is the greatest Daddy I could ever ask for, for my children. And he treats me like his Queen (and he calls me that too).

The Model Child: Diego Ray

The Model Child: Diego Ray
9 years old. My only boy. He is the epitome of the perfect child. He is so responsible and independent. Wise beyond his years. He is laughter, he is love, he is compassion, he is simply amazing. He keeps me grounded and reminds me always that I am beautiful. He is a natural born leader and takes care of the household and family better than me!

The Diva: Alayna Danae

The Diva: Alayna Danae
7 years old. She is drama. My fashionista for sure with a style all her own. Sensitive and loving when she wants to be. Thumbsucker. My biggest headache because she is the most like me. She is the only one who can cause me to become uncontrollably angry. She loves to dance. She loves to model. My bookworm and most academic.

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace

The Wild Child: Arielle Marie-Grace
4 years old. This one is something else. She is pure comedy. Never a dull moment with her crazy antics. She is also the crybaby. She does things her own way. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to be cute to get it. My Disney loving pal. So girly. Her favorite color is pink. Loves Rapunzel. Will wear a dress every single day. Can't leave the house without a bow in her hair. She refuses.

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle

The Munchkin: Atalie Belle
2 years old. My sweet baby. She loves her Mommy above all else. She is a cuddlebug for sure. The calmest most well behaved baby ever! But she has TONS of energy. She is so small and petite. She loves to sing and dance. She so SO ready for ballet and has yet to even step foot in a class. She loves Minnie Mouse and watching Disney Jr. She is hilarious and talks way too much.

Mother-Son, Father-Daughter Valentine's Dance

Me: Diego this is what I am wearing tonight. (As I pull out a brand new, never worn, eggplant purple top and Dark denim jeans, with black shiny heels... a nice outfit that looks both dressy but comfortable)

Diego: You're wearing that to the dance...? (We both stare at each other for a split second)
Diego: Ok Mommy whatever you want...

Me: (Of course now I am doubting myself) Is that not okay... What did you want me to wear?

Diego: Well I just thought you were going to wear a pretty dress... so you could look beautiful... and my friends can see what a pretty Mom I have.

Oh man this kid can melt my heart. Seriously he's the absolute BEST SON any mom could ever ask for! And what did I do to get so lucky? I swear I think I am the luckiest girl in the whole world and NO ONE can tell me any different!

So Friday Diego invites me to be his date for the Mother-Son/Father-Daughter Valentines Dance at his school. Of course I accepted and we looked forward to it the last few days.

So tonight we got ready... of course me in a dress... per Diego's request and he got all cleaned up for me too. It was so cute to see all the excitement he had. He even asked Grandpa to spray some of his grown-up cologne on him... apparently Lightning McQueen cologne wasn't enough for this occasion... I'm flattered!

So we arrive and they have it all set up like a Hollywood affair. Lot of Mom's with their sons (this is a Mom type of thing) but I was surprised to see so many father's there as well with their daughters. So sweet. Everyone was dressed up and looking all cute!

We even got to walk down the red carpet and we got to pose in a hollywood cutout.

At the beginning of the night I gave Diego $1 to spend on whatever he wanted... they had cookies, cupcakes, punch, candy, and even some Jamba Juice... but instead he went with a friend and bought me a flower! He's so sweet. But then I had to dig out $3 more to buy him his sweets.

So we had a great time. Diego danced the night away and I had so many moms tell me he was a great dancer. I'll upload some videos tomorrow cuz it's getting late.

I took a few more pictures but they are mostly with his friends... and since I don't have permission to post their pictures... I won't. Surprisingly, I didn't taketoo many because I was so focused on having a great time with my son. It was kinda liberating to not worry about pictures and just have a great time... we laughed, ate, and danced our hearts out. It was a great date night.

And I couldn't have had a better gentleman at my side.
