Friday:
Alayna had her dress rehearsal for her Ballet recital. She did SO good I was so proud of her. There's a part in the dance when the front line of girls jumps back to join the back line of girls, and then they find their partner and run up together holding hands. Well Alayna's partner is sometimes in class and sometimes not. So the teacher tries to drill it in their head that if their partner is not there then they just have to pretend they have a partner and continue. Every routine we watched before hers the girls would get flustered if they couldn't find their partner and completely forget the choreography. When Alayna's class did their run-through everyone had their partner except for her. I didn't notice hers was missing until the part came. I thought "Oh no!" but she remembered and pretended to hold hands with someone and continued right on never missing a beat. I wish I would have recorded it! But I wasn't thinking... But at least I remember it. She did great and was SO excited!

Saturday:
Diego had his first soccer game. He likes soccer. And actually he is really good at it surprisingly. I hope he can continue if I can find him a different league to play on after this session is over. (If not, baseball sign ups are coming up!)
And his cheerleaders
And his number one fans too
On the field ready to go
The diva watching her brother
And his team won 8-5 and Diego even scored a goal! I caught it on video too.
But even at 8am it was hot outside. We totally melted out there. And I had this person strapped to my chest to make things worse!
But she was as happy as can be. Figures.
Later my Daddy treated us to some Jamba Juice!
And Alayna's Ballet Recital was that night... but I'll do a seperate post since I don't have any pictures yet. I wasn't feeling good so I didn't take out my camera.
Sunday:
I said I wasn't feeling good and by the morning I was feeling horrible. So Jr took me into the Urgent Care. I have strep throat, and ear infection, and I was running a fever. Seriously so horrible. I literally slept from Sunday until yesterday... hence the lateness is posting this weekend blog.
I'll be back to blogging soon...

Awh seeing Alayna's pictures make me wish I would've stayed in Ballet!
Hopefully you'll keep her in it, I'll bet she'll be really good!:)
