So 2 weekends ago we went to California for an Exhibition... the good thing about having your own business is picking when and where you're traveling. Okay okay so this wasn't a hard choice... It was also the weekend of my Tia Chely's birthday and she threw herself a quinceanera x3 party to celebrate. And she so graciously hosted the event for us in conjunction with her party. So that was a good deal! Now if only my photography sessions would bring me to travel as well!

I also got my first ultrasound done. Everything is good and the Raspberry actually looks like a little baby! We had the girls with us at the appointment (Diego was at school) and Alayna was very much interested in what was going on but so confused as to what was going on. She was worried that I was sick. But the whole time the tech was explaining to her what she was doing. It was really cute. So as she's going along getting her pictures and measurements, Alayna says, "What's that big black (she meant white) spot (on the screen?" And the tech tells her, "That's the baby!" (Alayna REALLY was paying attention to the screen the whole time trying to "see" her baby.) Then the tech says, "Do you want to hear the heartbeat?" And she turns on the sound. And we hear a heartbeat loud and strong. And Layna says, "Oh no turn it off, it sounds like it's crying!" I laughed. After we were done we got our pictures and Alayna was SO excited to have the pictures. I love how involved she is. She's actually curious about everything and always wants to feel my tummy to make sure everything is okay. All. The. Time. Miley is fine.

I've also had time to catch up with old friends, and all the people I consider friends (which aren't too many) I have known since I was a kid or middle school. Seriously. I still keep in touch. Most of them I met between 7th and 9th grade. But I have some that I have known since Kindergarten even! So the other night I met up with my friend Tracy. AKA My Honey Bunches of Oats. She invited me to dinner and we had Olive Garden! Yes my favorite restaurant again! I had so much fun catching up with her... just the two of us. It's been since High School that I've actually seen her. But even throughout all these years we've kept in touch and she's always had my back. So it was fun... and I took my camera but completely forgot to get a picture together... what the heck right? But she did come in and meet the kiddos.

Fall is here and I am very happy! The kids have been off of school this week. Fun stuff. We've done a whole lot of nothing... although it seems like we've done a lot. I am tired.

Then I made a trip to the ER the other night. I woke up at about 2am and after tossing and turning I was having a hard time breathing. I texted Jr (who was working) but didn't want to make a big deal. I figured I might be hot since my room is pretty stuffy so I went to the living room and layed down. It wasn't so much that I couldn't breathe but more like I could take a breath deep enough to fill my lungs. I was constantly taking deep breaths and still feeling like I was getting no air. After a while I texted Jr again and he decided to come home but he was far away and I had to wait. I wasn't sure if it was anything to worry about... after all I was still breathing and I wasn't like gasping for air. But once Jr got home and saw that I was uncomfortable and was now having chest and back pain from the constant deep breathing... we decided to be safe and at 4am we headed off to the ER.
They took me back right away and did an EKG. And some more tests. I was getting enough oxygen. Turns out that the muscles surrounding my right ribs were inflamed and causing me to have a back ache... and all the tightening was causing me to feel short of breath. Thus the pain in my chest as well. The Dr. said that if I continue to get severe back pain, which I will, to immediately put a heating pad on it or have someone massage the area daily so it won't become swollen. It won't completely go away unfortunately. They gave me a percocet to help with the pain and immediately I was able to start breathing and finally relax. After a little rest and some more monitoring they let me go. And with an Rx for percocet we were sent off.
Although I won't be taking them... I'll stick to tylenol if needed. I was so dizzy, drowsy, and sick from that pill that I don't even want to take another. It was horrible.

And then the other night we got some news. Not only are my sister-in-law (bro's wife) and I pregnant together... but now my sister has joined us! Crazy right?! So my parents will get 3 new grandkids next year, one from each of their children, and making it 10 for 2010! Have fun planning baby showers Mom! Haha! Anywho... she hasn't seen her Dr. yet so we still don't know how far along she is exactly... but we estimate early June.
Lots and lots going on...
